Darnay Holmes, a five-star athlete in the 2017 class out of California, will soon be releasing a list of his top three schools.
One spot in that top three has already been secured.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect out of Calabasas, Calif. told SB Nation's Michigan blog, Maize n Brew, that the Wolverines are the only program he knows will be in his top three.
">@MaizenBrew that Michigan is the ONLY team that he knows will make his Top 3. Still deciding on others.

Holmes is ranked the No. 1 cornerback and No. 10 player in the class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's expected to contribute on both sides of the ball at the college level. Michigan, which uses former five-star recruit Jabrill Peppers in a similar role, might have an advantage in his recruitment because of that.
Nebraska, UCLA, Ohio State, Stanford, Arizona and Washington, among other programs, are believed to be in serious contention, too.
