Adam Schefter Will Be Michigan's Honorary Captain This Week Against Cincinnati

Schefter is a Michigan alum.

Since he took over as Michigan's head coach, Jim Harbaugh has installed a new tradition of inviting back UM alums and other notable figures to serve as honorary game captains.

For this weekend's game against Cincinnati, the honorary captain will be ESPN NFL Insider and Michigan graduate Adam Schefter.

Schefter, 50, graduated from Michigan in 1989.

This is pretty cool for Schefter, and we're sure he'll get to know some of the guys on this Michigan team pretty well over the next few years as they transition to the NFL.

Michigan and Cincinnati will kick off at noon ET Saturday on ABC.
