The Ann Arbor Ruth's Chris Will Lose A Ton Of Money Because Michigan Won By So Much

Michigan's 78-0 thrashing of Rutgers was a historic win for the program--and a devastating one for the Ruth's Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor.

The restaurant probably thought this promotion was a good thing. As part of its "Score Big" promotion, the Ann Arbor Ruth's Chris would offer fans a total percentage off their food bill equivalent to Michigan's margin of victory. For example, a 20-point win for the Maize and Blue means 20 percent off the bill.

Well, when the restaurant posted this promotion on Friday, it never thought Michigan would WIN BY 78 POINTS!

Now, according to Facebook user Trisha Russo, the restaurant said it will only go up to 50 percent off. Makes sense, as it might have gone out of business going with the full margin of victory.

As it stands, the restaurant will probably take a pretty sizable hit. It might be worth it in the long run for good publicity, but we can bet the manager isn't very happy with Rutgers for tonight's result.
