Evidently, Michigan fans are convinced their team will blow out Michigan State this weekend.
As a result, the Ann Arbor Ruth's Chris Steak House is reportedly fully booked up for the week following the game. As you might know, this particular Ruth's Chris has been selling discounted steaks based off how many points Michigan wins by. If the Wolverines win by 20, customers get 20 percent off their meals.
According to The Detroit News, there are no openings at the Ann Arbor restaurant from game day up until Friday, Nov. 11.
An employee who answered the phone at Ruth's Chris on Wednesday afternoon would only say, "No comment," when asked if all tables are booked for the five days after the Michigan State game.
But a search for a reservation on OpenTable.com found no available tables between Saturday and Friday, Nov. 11.
Of course, this promotion started the week Michigan thumped Rutgers 78-0, resulting in a capping of the discount at 50 percent. The restaurant was fully booked in the day's following that blowout. Even Jim Harbaugh went and had a steak (with milk, of course).
An upset win by the Spartans on Saturday wouldn't just hit Michigan in the Big Ten standings and College Football Playoff chase. It would also hit some Wolverine fans in the wallet.
