Michigan beat Indiana tonight 31-20 to move to 10-1. During the game, Wolverine running back Berkley Edwards suffered a scary injury.

Edwards was taken off the field on a stretcher after getting hit hard by Indiana's Cam Jones on a punt return. Jones was called for targeting on the play.

Edwards was motionless as he was wheeled off the field. It was a scary scene, though the Michigan radio broadcast reported he had feeling in his extremities.

Berkley Edwards' older brother is Braylon Edwards, a former star wide receiver at Michigan and in the NFL. Braylon provided an update on his sibling on Twitter after the game. "Just to give you guys an update Berk is responding to all test and moving all extremities," he wrote. "He is en route to the Hospital where he will probably be diagnosed with a concussion. Thank you for all your support and prayers... I was joking about the tunnel btw #GodIsGood."

The tunnel part is referring to an earlier tweet from Braylon where he said he would be waiting to confront Jones outside the tunnel after the game.

It seems like Berkley Edwards dodged a major bullet and avoided a devastating injury. That's great news, and we hope he recovers quickly.
