It's not uncommon to see high profile alums of two schools interact on Twitter after their alma maters match up on the gridiron. That happened yesterday, after the Utah Utes took down the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor, 26-10. Former Utes wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. tried tweeting some trash talk towards former Wolverines star Desmond Howard, and while it took a little while for Howard to respond, it was totally worth the wait.

One day later, Howard congratulated Smith on the win, but still trolled former Utah star.
">@89SteveSmith Congrats! It's always good to be 'the man' people tweet when they beat your alma mater. Maybe 1 day you'll get that honor.

Seeing a good-natured back-and-forth like this is always fun, especially when it's between two people who are excellent trash talkers. The two laughed about the exchange later, and maybe we'll see these two trade jabs on Twitter next year, when the Wolverines travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Utes.
