The Michigan Wolverines have quickly - and relatively quietly - gotten off to a terrific start. The team is 7-0 with wins over No. 8 Villanova and, most recently, No. 11 North Carolina.

Speaking of the Tar Heels, Roy Williams' team has now lost two of their last three and has plunged in both the ACC standings and the polls.

But ESPN's Dick Vitale was quick to point to a silver lining for the embattled Tar Heels.

Taking to Twitter, Vitale congratulated Michigan on their performance in the 84-67 win. He also expressed his hope that Roy Williams uses the loss to get the team to buy into his defensive scheme.

The Tar Heels have allowed 75 or more points in each of their last four games. While the loss to Texas was a close 92-89 defeat, the Wolverines won by double-digits.

Michigan's Ignas Brazdeikis, who chose the Wolverines after also taking official visits with Vanderbilt and Florida ahead of this season, had a team-high 24 points, while Charles Matthews had 21 of his own. Jordan Poole also contributed to the dominating win with another 18 points.

North Carolina has five-more non-conference games before the ACC regular season begins in January.

Michigan's conference schedule, on the other hand, begins this weekend against No. 19 Purdue.
