Every week ESPN analyst Bill Connelly makes his predictions for the biggest games in college football. Although there are several programs enjoying the week off, it didn't stop him from giving his picks for the top matchups on this weekend's schedule.

Following a statement win over Notre Dame this past weekend, Michigan will try to keep rolling as it takes on Maryland.

The Wolverines defeated the Fighting Irish by 31 points in large part because of their running game. Hassan Haskins ran for 149 yards, while Zach Charbonnet added 74 yards and two touchdowns.

Jim Harbaugh's team struggled out of the gate this season, but it appears the Wolverines have found their identity.

Next up for Michigan is a road test against Maryland. The Terrapins have lost three-straight games, which includes a blowout loss to the Purdue Boilermakers.

Despite the fact that Michigan has a losing record on the road this season, Connelly expects Harbaugh to lead his team to another victory.

Connelly predicts Michigan to win 33-17 over Maryland.

Shea Patterson could be due for a nice performance against a secondary that allows 273.6 passing yards per contest.

Kickoff for this game is at 12 p.m. ET from Byrd Stadium.

The game will be broadcast on ABC.
