Last weekend, the Michigan Wolverines suffered an embarrassing loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. With the program's playoff hopes dangling by a thread, it's time to look ahead at the rest of their schedule.

Fans in Michigan are already panicking about the team’s outlook for the rest of the season. The upcoming schedule doesn’t do the school any favors.

Michigan has to a face a handful of ranked opponents this fall, which includes games against Ohio State and Notre Dame.

The pressure was already on for Jim Harbaugh and the loss to Wisconsin only magnifies it now. It's fair to wonder if this could be his final year coaching in Ann Arbor.

ESPN’s Football Power Index actually predicts the Wolverines to finish with an 7-5 record.

Here is how the rest of Michigan’s schedule will shape out, per ESPN’s FPI:

September 28 – vs. Rutgers: 95.8%

October 5 – vs. Iowa: 61.4%

October 12 – at Illinois: 85.6%

October 19 – at Penn State: 25.1%

October 26 – vs. Notre Dame: 29.0%

November 2 – at Maryland: 52.6%

November 16 – vs. Michigan State – 54.4%

November 23 – at Indiana: 69.7%

November 30 – vs. Ohio State: 19.0%

According to the FPI, the Wolverines are projected to lose to the Nittany Lions, Fighting Irish and Buckeyes.

Michigan has struggled against Ohio State in recent years so it's not surprising that it'll be an underdog in the regular season finale.

The next big test for Michigan takes place next Saturday when it hosts Iowa.
