ESPN's FPI Predicts Final Record Every Big Ten Team

ESPN's FPI already has final record predictions for this upcoming football season.

The 2017-2018 college football season won't officially get underway until September, but there are already plenty of predictions floating around regarding which teams are going to be competing for College Football Playoff bids. ESPN's FPI, in fact, already has projected win-loss totals.

Ohio State, it turns out, is the team projected to finish with the most wins in college football next season. The Buckeyes, who reached the playoff last season but were crushed by Clemson, are projected to finish 11.8-1 with a 69% chance of winning the Big Ten.

Let's take a look at all of the Big Ten team's projected win-loss records. If you're wondering why the totals don't add up to whole numbers - that's because it factors in the odds of each team reaching and winning/losing the Big Ten title game.

1. Ohio State - projected to finish 11.8-1

2. Wisconsin - projected to finish 10.6-2.2

3. Penn State - projected to finish 9.9-2.2

4. Michigan - projected to finish 8.3-3.7

5. Northwestern - projected to finish 8.3-3.9
