Back in the Top 25 and riding a three-game win streak, Michigan is turning some heads in year one of the Jim Harbaugh era.
Most people expected Harbaugh to return the Wolverines to prominence eventually, but Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt believes it is going to happen sooner, rather than later. Much sooner.
Speaking on Colin Cowherd's radio show yesterday, Klatt predicted that the Wolverines would register a victory over one of their top rivals this season and could sneak their way into the top 10 at some point.
“It’s happening. It’s happening before our eyes. It could happen this year,” Klatt said.
“They’re gonna beat Michigan State or Ohio State, and depending on what they do in those other games, they’ll be in the top 10 this year. “They’re good. Michigan is really good.
This is a bold move on Klatt's part, even for someone who originally said he thought Harbaugh would transform his alma mater into a top 10 program in three years.
We think Michigan fans will like this take from Klatt more than they liked when he said last week that Michigan State is the best program in college football.
