Here's Why Jabrill Peppers Is Not Practicing On 1st Day Of Rookie Mini-Camp Today

A major player is not working out during today's Cleveland Browns rookie mini-camp.

Today is the first day of Cleveland Browns rookie mini-camp and a prominent player is not practicing: first-round pick Jabrill Peppers.

Peppers, the No. 25 pick out of Michigan, is not working out because he has not signed a participation waiver that protects him in case of injury.

On the advice of his agent, Peppers sat out.

This is probably a smart move on Peppers' part. He reportedly hasn't signed his contract yet, so his agent likely recommended he sit it out until both documents are signed.

He should be out on the field soon.
