The Michigan Wolverines open conference play on Saturday afternoon against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Michigan enters the game on a two-game win streak after dropping its season-opener against Notre Dame.

Star running back Karan Higdon missed the Wolverines' win over SMU with an injury. Will he be back for this afternoon's game against Nebraska?

According to reporters at the game, Higdon is warming up on the field with the team. It looks like he'll be a go for the game against Nebraska at home.

Meanwhile, it doesn't look like Chris Evans will play. Here's more from Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press.

Jay Harbaugh added that Higdon has practiced fully this week after sitting out last Saturday. Evans, meanwhile, has been progressing.

Higdon leads the Wolverines in rushing with 228 yards, even though he has only played in two of three games. Evans is a close second on the roster with 178 rushing yards.

Both players have scored a pair of touchdowns.

Michigan and Nebraska will kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
