Injury Update For Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor

Wisconsin is dominating early against Michigan, but the Badgers might have a sizable issue to deal with moving forward. Star running back Jonathan Taylor appears to have suffered some kind of injury in the second quarter.

Taylor, one of the most gifted running backs in the nation, has gashed Michigan's defense thus far. On 12 carries, he's racked up 143 yards and two touchdowns - including a 72-yard score. But after a run in the second quarter, he headed to the injury tent.

Taylor has yet to return to the game. Wisconsin fans are rightfully concerned about his status.

Wisconsin has yet to issue any kind of statement on whether Taylor will return. It's unclear how serious the injury is at the moment. Here's video of Taylor's monster run that put the Badgers up two scores.

Wisconsin currently leads Michigan 14-0. The Badgers are driving at the moment as well.

As noted, this is a huge game for both teams. It could be a College Football Playoff elimination game. We'll keep you updated on Taylor's status.

Update: Taylor is reportedly suffering from cramps. It's unclear if Wisconsin will feel the need to return him to the game.

Wisconsin now leads 21-0. It's looking ugly for Michigan at the moment.

Update 2: Taylor returned to the game in the third quarter and he looks good. Hopefully he's able to make it through the rest of the contest with no issues.
