At 7-0, Michigan football leads the way in the Big Ten conference.

Ranked 2nd in the country, the Wolverines have dominated opponents this season. Defensively, they have been frighteningly good.

Fox Sports' Jason Whitlock has seen enough to declare Michigan the Big Ten football champs. On his show with Colin Cowherd today, Whitlock said the Wolverines will run the table because of their stop unit.

"That Michigan defense is ridiculous and it shows up every freakin' game. Jabrill Peppers, that corner (Jourdan Lewis) they got that makes the incredible interceptions and may be even better than Jabrill Peppers, their front four. He [Jim Harbaugh] has a defensive machine that will show up and mow down Ohio State. That unit is the best unit in college football. Michigan will beat Ohio State, Ohio State will not make the playoffs. Michigan will represent the Big Ten."

Whitlock forgot Jourdan Lewis' name, which some fans might shake their heads at. You can't deny how good Michigan's defense has been though.

Whitlock did go on to say he felt Ohio State outplayed Penn State but that the Nittany Lions "mucked it up" and made a few big plays. He also said Michigan's defense would keep it in a game against Alabama.

Michigan-Ohio State is now roughly one month away. We can't wait.
