Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh has a message for New England Patriots’ star quarterback Tom Brady following his latest Super Bowl championship.
Harbaugh wants to give Brady a present.
Michigan’s head coach thinks it’s time for the former Wolverines’ quarterback to get a statue in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Brady, who played for Michigan, has now won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.
Harbaugh made the push for Brady to get a statue on his latest Attack Each Day podcast, which he does with his father.
“I think it’s time, don’t you, for a Tom Brady statue to built right here,” Harbaugh said. “Right in front of Schembechler Hall, or do you put it in the stadium? Where would you put the Tom Brady statue? … The tunnel? Maybe the tunnel? Where do you put it? Maybe some of the listeners can tell us.”
Brady will likely get a statue outside of the Patriots’ stadium as some point, but it’s unclear if he’ll get one in Michigan.
The former Wolverines’ quarterback was a solid player while he was at Michigan, but he was by no means a legendary college player.
Does the fact that he’s gone on to become the greatest quarterback in NFL history mean he now gets a statue at Michigan?
We’ll see, apparently.
