Michigan's 62-39 loss to Ohio State today did more than just cost the Wolverines the Big Ten East and eliminate them from the College Football Playoff. It also allowed Jim Harbaugh to make some unfortunate history.

With the loss, Harbaugh became the first coach in Michigan's long history to start his career 0-4 against the Buckeyes. Harbaugh is still yet to beat his biggest rival.

Overall, Michigan has dropped 13 of 14 to Ohio State.

Harbaugh is 3-1 against Penn State and 2-2 against Michigan State in his four seasons. He has won 10 games in three out of four seasons.

All of that is fine, but Ohio State remains the "white whale" for him and his program.

Before this game, Harbaugh admitted he heard about beating Ohio State every day during his time in Ann Arbor.

That isn't ever going to change, especially if he continues to be unable to do it.
