Jim Harbaugh has made several coaching staff moves this offseason, highlighted by his hiring of Alabama assistant coach Josh Gattis, who's becoming the Wolverines' offensive coordinator heading into 2019.

The Michigan head coach has reportedly made another hire.

Football Scoop is reporting that Harbaugh is hiring a former ACC defensive coordinator.

Former Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Nate Woody is reportedly joining the Wolverines' staff.

Woody was reportedly set to take the defensive coordinator job at Army, but he's now decided to take a role with the Wolverines.

From his report:

Nate Woody, who served as the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech last season, is expected to join the Michigan staff in an off-field role, per source. In the past several weeks, per reports, Woody had reportedly taken the Army defensive coordinator job and was also set to join the Georgia State staff as of recently. We now understand he’s heading to Ann Arbor and is expected to join Jim Harbaugh’s staff.

Michigan had a disappointing finish to the 2018 season, but the Wolverines are heading into the 2019 season with some optimism.

Stay tuned for an official announcement on the hiring.
