Michigan pulled out a 20-17 win over Northwestern today on the road. The Wolverines had to overcome a 17-0 deficit to do so.

They also had to get past some questionable officiating. Most glaring was this bizarre holding penalty called on running back Karan Higdon late in the contest.

After the game, Harbaugh was asked about the refs. He answered in very Harbaugh fashion.

In doing so, he jokingly put his AD on the spot.

Shaky officiating or not, Michigan will take this win. The Wolverines came out incredibly flat and struggled offensively from the get-go.

It was ugly, but they have won four straight since the loss to Notre Dame. With Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan State still on the schedule, they had to have this game.

The Wolverines' next game will be next Saturday at Maryland.
