The Michigan Wolverines entered their contest against Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon as the underdog. It's only one of a handful of times Jim Harbaugh has been an underdog during his time as the head coach at Michigan.

The other few times did not end well for Michigan and this one isn't going well either.

Harbaugh has never won a game as an underdog as the Wolverines head coach and now his Michigan team trails Wisconsin 28-0 at the end of the first half.

After a poor first half of football, Kirk Herbstreit decided to weigh in on the game. He's not happy with what he's seen from Michigan so far.

"Man oh man. Not sure ANYONE saw THAT poor of a 1st half coming for Michigan at Camp Randall. Down 28-0 at halftime and can’t do anything right. 96 yards of offense with 3 1st downs and 2 TO’s. Wisconsin playing great on both sides. Jonathan Taylor 143 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and Jack Coan 11-13 passing," Herbstreit said.

The Wolverines have looked awful on offense through two quarters of play.

Michigan benched starting quarterback Shea Patterson for freshman Dylan McCaffrey to try and get something going on the offensive end.

Can the Wolverines bounce back after a terrible showing in the first half?
