The new College Football Playoff rankings don't sit well with ESPN's Michael Wilbon.
On Pardon The Interruption this evening, co-host Michael Wilbon expressed his distaste with the new College Football Playoff top 25, released on ESPN Tuesday night.
Specifically, Wilbon has an issue with one team's ranking: Michigan.
The Wolverines, despite losing at Iowa Saturday night, sit at No. 3 in the rankings, behind Alabama and Ohio State.
"The committee wants Michigan (to make the playoff)," he said. "This is wrong."
Wilbon says he doesn't have a big problem with Michigan the team, but just their No. 3 ranking this week.
The Wolverines loss at Iowa was worse than Clemson's loss at home to Pittsburgh and Washington's loss at home to USC.
"Michigan had the worst loss (of the group)," he said.
The committee would tell Wilbon that Michigan still has the best resume of the UM-Clemson-Louisville-Washington group, so that's why the Wolverines came in at No. 3.
