Michigan football has filled out its schedules for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
This afternoon, Michigan football revealed it will host Western Michigan in 2018 and Army and Middle Tennessee State in 2019. These three non-conference games officially complete the schedules for those two seasons.
The Western Michigan game will be played Sept. 8, 2018, and will serve as the Wolverines' home opener. Michigan opens the 2018 season one week prior at Notre Dame.
Middle Tennessee State (Aug. 31) and Army (Sept. 7) will be the first two games of the 2019 campaign.
A Michigan-Western Michigan matchup is somewhat intriguing, and would have been more so if P.J. Fleck was still coaching WMU. Barring a huge upset, the Maize and Blue will win all three of these non-conference games.
