Michigan Basketball Upset By Eastern Michigan, 45-42

Michigan did it again. On Saturday, the then-No. 17 Wolverines fellat home to NJIT, 72-70. Tonight, John Beilein's squad lost at the Crisler Center again, this time to Eastern Michigan, 45-42. While the Eagles are a fine team -- the win moved the team to 8-1 on the season -- this is obviously still a huge upset.

Eastern Michigan's defense stifled Michigan's high-powered offense, as the Wolverines shot a paltry 32.6 percent from the field and 19.0 percent from three. The Eagles also won the battle on the glass, as they out-rebounded Michigan, 36-27. This Michigan fan's face sums up the night for the Wolverines:

The bad news for Michigan fans is that the Wolverines have lost two games in a row and are now 6-3 on the year. The even worse news is that the squad's next game is on the road against No. 3 Arizona. The contest will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13, and it is scheduled to tip off at 5:15 P.M. EST on ESPN.
