The Michigan Wolverines continue their impressive run through the 2019 College World Series. After an elimination game in Bracket 1, which UM controls, we now know their next opponent.

Texas Tech lost its first game of this double-elimination round to Michigan, 5-3. From there, the Red Raiders took down Arkansas, and on Wednesday, eliminated Florida State.

Now, the Big 12 squad will have its chance at a rematch with the Wolverines. The Red Raiders sit at that one loss, while Michigan still has two losses before elimination.

With Texas Tech moving on, we have five teams remaining in the 2019 College World Series.

Michigan and the Red Raiders are set to duel in the first bracket. Things are still shaking out in the second.

SEC power Vanderbilt has won two games already, and sits in a similar position of strength as the Wolverines.

They'll face the winner of today's Louisville-Mississippi State game. Both teams beat Auburn, but lost to Vanderbilt earlier in the round-robin.

That game will be played tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The winner will face Vanderbilt tomorrow, with a second game on Saturday if necessary.

Michigan-Texas Tech first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET Friday, with a second game if necessary also scheduled for Saturday.
