Michigan DB Jabrill Peppers Will Not Play Against Rutgers, QB Shane Morris Will Dress

It's been a long week for Michigan football. Tonight, the team finally returns to the field, as it travels to New Jersey for a primetime showdown with Rutgers.

The Wolverines do have some big injury news, as it will be without the services of star freshman defensive back Jabrill Peppers, who won't dress for the second straight game. In perhaps even bigger injury news, quarterback Shane Morris will dress, and is reportedly taking second team reps in warm-ups.

Peppers missed last week's game against Minnesota due to a hamstring injury. Morris wasn't expected to suit up this week after getting injured against the Golden Gophers, and Wolverines' coach Brady Hoke said Russell Bellomy and Wilton Speight would back up starting QB Devin Gardner this week.

The contest between the Wolverines and the Scarlet Knights is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 P.M. You can catch the game on the Big Ten Network.
