Michigan's football program is getting taunted this morning for what it tweeted about New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady led his Patriots' team to an AFC Championship Game victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

New England topped Kansas City in overtime, heading to the Super Bowl to face the Los Angeles Rams.

Brady's alma mater, Michigan, posted the following tweet in response to Brady's performance:

"That’s what he does. Wow. What else would you expect?" Michigan tweeted.

Brady played at Michigan in the late 1990s before moving on to the NFL. He was a sixth-round pick in the NFL Draft. Some - Ohio State fans, mostly - are poking fun at Michigan attempting to take credit for Brady's greatness when he was developed into a sixth round selection. "Michigan would like you to never forget that it developed the greatest QB who ever lived into a 6th round pick," one Buckeyes fan tweeted.

"Lloyd Carr obviously didn't expect it, since he repeatedly benched Brady for Drew Henson..." another added.

Even a Michigan fan found it a little weird. "I’m a big Michigan fan, but please delete this,"

That’s what he does. Wow.
