Michigan Football Will Travel To Paris, Normandy Next Offseason

Jim Harbaugh enjoys pizza in Rome with players.

Michigan football will head back to Europe next spring.

After a trip to Rome this past spring, the Wolverines will head back to Europe once again in 2018.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed earlier today at Big Ten Media Days that the team will travel to both Paris and Normandy next year. The players voted earlier last month on London, Paris and Normandy as their preferred destinations, but London was apparently cut out of the itinerary for whatever reason.

The trip to Rome cost about $800,000, but an anonymous donor footed the bill, and according to athletic director Warde Manuel, a similar arrangement will take place next year, as there are several donors willing to pay for next year's trip.

Harbaugh called the trip to Rome the "experience of my lifetime," so it will be interesting to see how he handles France.
