Michigan Football Working On Having A Night Game At The Big House This Year

Michigan's football team might be playing under the lights at The Big House next fall.

According to Rachel Lenzi of the Toledo Blade, Wolverines' athletic director Jim Hackett said on The Huge Show in Grand Rapids, Mich. thatthe athletic department is working on scheduling a night game for the 2016 season.

Michigan didn't have a home night game in 2015. The team's first home night game was in 2011 against Notre Dame.

Michigan's 2016 home schedule includes games against: Hawaii, UCF, Colorado, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Maryland and Indiana.

The contests against the Nittany Lions and the Badgers probably make the most sense for a night game, considering they're conference games earlier enough in the season that it won't be too cold.
