The Michigan Wolverines and Florida Gators took the field this afternoon in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta. It's a rematch of the 2017 season-opener in which the Wolverines won 33-17.

Michigan opened the game with what looked to be a long touchdown run, but that call was overturned and the Wolverines failed to gain a first down. Since then, it's been a defensive battle for two of the best defensive units in the nation.

During the game, a familiar face popped up on the Michigan sideline.

Former Central Michigan head coach John Bonamego was spotted on the Wolverines sideline. He's working with Jim Harbaugh's staff today.

Bonamego was a longtime NFL special teams coordinator before landing the head coaching job at Central Michigan. He was fired by the Chippewas after leading the team to its worst season in program history - a 1-11 campaign.

Now he's hoping to help out the Wolverines head into 2019 with a win.
