Michigan got some good news this morning. The Wolverines have found their quarterback for the class of 2020.

Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle three-star prospect J.D. Johnson just announced a commitment to Michigan on Twitter.

Johnson chose the Wolverines over offers from South Carolina, Arizona, UNLV and Colorado State.

"I am excited about pursuing excellence, both in the classroom and on the field, at the University of Michigan," Johnson wrote.

Johnson is the 25th-ranked Pro-Style quarterback in the 2020 cycle, according to 247Sports. He is the fifth verbal commitment for Michigan in the 2020 cycle.
