Michigan Leading Rusher Derrick Green Out For The Season With A Broken Clavicle

Another day, another piece of bad news for Michigan football. This time, the news surrounds running back Derrick Green, who leads the team with 471 rushing yards this season. According to Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke, Green will miss the rest of 2014 after breaking his clavicle.

While this is a huge loss for the Wolverines, it's not the end of the world. De'Veon Smith -- who is listed as the team's starting running back -- has backed up Green this year, and has performed well, rushing for 282 yards and a team-high four touchdowns on 47 carries.

Smith and the rest of the Wolverines host Penn State on Saturday. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 P.M., and you can watch it on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.
