Two hours before kickoff for Michigan vs. Michigan State, Wolverines linebacker Devin Bush, after an altercation with a few Spartans, attempted to tear up his opponent's midfield logo with his cleats. After the game, the whole team headed to that same spot to celebrate.

Michigan knocked off Michigan State 21-7 on Saturday in a defensive battle that saw the Spartans wind up benching their starting quarterback. The Wolverines, behind a nice performance from Shea Patterson, had just enough offense to get out of East Lansing with the win.

After the game, Michigan's players grabbed the Paul Bunyan Trophy and eventually headed to midfield to celebrate.

According to reporters on scene, Michigan State's players initially guarded midfield. But the Wolverines waited them out.

In the below clips, you can see Michigan's players jumping up and down and stomping on the Spartans' logo.

Jim Harbaugh, with his team's win, now moves to 2-2 against his main in-state rival.

Michigan vs. Michigan State is great every year, and the 2019 version is already shaping up to be a great one.
