The Wolverines have officially added the star graduate transfer.
Jaaron Simmons' transfer destination is official.
The Ohio graduate transfer was toying with the idea of remaining in the NBA Draft, but he's officially withdrawn his name. He's joined Michigan's basketball program for the 2017-18 season.
Michigan announced the addition this afternoon.
Simmons was one of the best offensive players in college basketball last season, averaging 15.9 points and 6.5 assists per game for the Bobcats.
He's joining a Wolverines' team that has to replace several of its top scorers, so there will be an immediate opportunity for him to make an impact.
Simmons has averaged more than 15 points a game in each of his last two seasons at Ohio.
