Michigan Star Rashan Gary Announces NFL Draft Decision

Rashan Gary crushes Hayden Moore.

As if Michigan's weekend couldn't get worse, the Wolverines are about to lose top defender Rashan Gary.

The NFL has come calling for the Michigan junior defensive tackle and it looks like Gary is ready to answer.

On Monday morning, Gary took to Twitter and posted a video where he announced that he would be foregoing his senior year to enter the NFL Draft.

Outlets like Bleacher Report are already considering Gary to be a first-round prospect in the 2019 NFL draft. Analyst Matt Miller has Gary ranked No. 7 overall and the No. 3 defensive lineman.

Gary finished the 2018 college football season as one of Michigan's most productive defenders.

In nine games this past season, Gary had 38 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. It remains to be seen if he decides to play in Michigan's bowl game.

But 2017 was the year in which Gary truly dominated on the stat sheet.

In 2017, Gary finished the season with 58 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.
