Michigan and Villanova are less than an hour from tip-off in the national championship game.

Earlier today, it looked like Michigan teased it would be wearing its maize uniforms for tonight's game. Villanova is the home team as the higher seed, so the Wildcats will wear white.

However, the Wolverines won't be rocking maize tonight. They'll go with navy blue instead, their traditional road look.

When Michigan took the court for warm-ups a short time ago, they were wearing blue.

Michigan won its lone national championship back in 1989 wearing blue. The Wolverines lost in blue in the title game in 1992, and wore maize in the 1993 and 2013 championship games (both losses). Michigan also wore blue when it beat Purdue in the Big Ten title game last month as well. They are 11-6 in navy this season, according to beat writer Brendan Quinn.

Michigan and Villanova will tip off at 9:20 p.m. ET on TBS.
