This weekend features a plethora of great matchups, but the most notable game of the weekend is between Michigan and Wisconsin. Whichever team loses this showdown may lose any hope of making the College Football Playoff.

Although Michigan did prevail over Army in its last game, the powerhouse program needed overtime to get the job done. One of the biggest issues for the Wolverines is their lack of consistency on offense.

Michigan certainly has the talent to be a great team this season. However, Shea Patterson needs to play much better for the offense to reach its full potential.

On the other hand, Wisconsin is off to a nice start because of Jonathan Taylor. The sensational running back could very well be the first non-quarterback to win the Heisman Trophy since Derrick Henry back in 2015.

While most of the focus for the Badgers goes to Taylor - and rightfully so - the defense hasn't surrendered a single point this season.

Here are the details for the Michigan-Wisconsin game:

Game Time: 12:00 PM ET

Channel: FOX

Spread: Wisconsin -3.5

Over/Under: 44.5

Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt

The pressure is on for Jim Harbaugh to win this game. Arguably the biggest knock on his tenure at Michigan is his lackluster record against ranked opponents.
