The Michigan Wolverines were one of the most impressive teams throughout the season, but a disappointing showing against the Ohio State Buckeyes destroyed any chance of them making the College Football Playoff.

It's very possible that this upcoming bowl game could be the final collegiate appearance for many players on the Wolverines, including Shea Patterson. Fortunately for them, it appears a New Year’s Six game is in their future.

With the regular season over, several sites are revealing their 2018 bowl projections.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has Michigan in the Rose Bowl against Washington. The Huskies still have to play in the Pac-12 Championship against Utah.

College Football News also has the Wolverines in the Rose Bowl against the Huskies.

Eric Single of Sports Illustrated has Michigan facing Florida in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, as the Gators finished their season with a dominant victory over Florida State.

This season won't end with a national championship for the Wolverines, but it'll still be another chance for Jim Harbaugh to finish strong.

Michigan will officially receive its matchup next Sunday.
