Michigan's Twitter account leaves a lot to be desired according to Athlon.

Social media—Twitter especially—has become a huge part of college football. There's no better way to follow a team or catch up on highlights than by scrolling the ol' feed. Twitter has become so integral, in fact, that nearly every college football team has an account on Twitter to provide not only updates, but sometimes humor and other ways to promote fan engagement.

So Athlon decided to rank the best and worst Twitter accounts, and unfortunately, Michigan's Twitter account earned the title of the "worst college football Twitter account."

Here's what Athlon had to say:

Michigan's Twitter account serves its purpose, but it does nothing for the casual fan (which is probably what they want). The Wolverines aren't very engaging but they serve their purpose to the Michigan faithful.
