Year Five of the Jim Harbaugh Era is on the horizon in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines are expected to contend for the Big Ten title and a College Football Playoff berth.

Michigan's schedule is once again daunting, with road trips to Wisconsin and Penn State and home games against Michigan State, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Harbaugh has yet to beat the Buckeyes, a fact Maize and Blue fans don't need to be reminded of.

Before Michigan gets into the meat of its 2019 slate, the Wolverines should have a cupcake on their hands in the season opener. Middle Tennessee State will visit the Big House on August 31.

This week, BetOnline released betting lines for Week 1 games. Michigan is a heavy favorite against the Blue Raiders.

Michigan is a 31-point favorite against MTSU, per BetOnline.

Michigan and Middle Tennessee State will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on August 31. BTN will broadcast the game.

After facing MTSU, Harbaugh and company will host Army before a Week 3 bye.

In Week 4, the Big Ten schedule gets underway with a contest at Wisconsin.
