4-Star WR Nico Collins Commits To Michigan

Nico Collins, a four-star wide receiver out of Alabama, is heading up North to the Michigan Wolverines.

Collins has offers from all over the SEC, including in-state superpower Alabama, Georgia, and LSU, but instead he's heading to the Big Ten to play for Jim Harbaugh.

He announced his decision with a video produced by AL.com.

The Pinson native is the No. 23 wide receiver in the country and No. 5 recruit in the state of Alabama.

Collins is the only player ranked in the top 10 in the state of Alabama that isn't going to Alabama and Auburn.

New Michigan passing game coordinator Pep Hamilton is credited as the main recruiter for Collins via 247Sports.

Michigan could be pulling in a huge 30-person class, which also features five-star receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones and four-stars Tarik Black, Oliver Martin, and three-star Brad Hawkins.
