A five-star prospect with first-round NBA Draft potential, Nimari Burnett is a very popular recruit in the Class of 2020. With offers from tons of major programs, Burnett is narrowing down the field of contenders.

According to Tipton Edits, Burnett has cut his list to 12 teams. The 12 are Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Auburn, Illinois, Michigan, Wake Forest, Louisville, Oregon, UCLA, Stanford, and Marquette.

The list is certainly an even split of Power Five conferences and top basketball programs: Two ACC schools, two Big Ten schools, three SEC schools, four Pac-12 schools, and one Big East school.

247Sports rates Burnett as the No. 23 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 5 combo guard in the country, and the No. 6 prospect from the state of Illinois.

Burnett is a player that all of those teams would love to have.

His 247Sports scouting report draws comparisons to former Seton Hall and NBA star Isaiah Whitehead.

Only a handful of players from the Class of 2020 have announced their commitment so far, and Burnett has nearly a year to come to a final decision.
