P.J. Fleck didn't find Michigan State beating the Wolverines that surprising.
Last Saturday, Michigan State took down No. 7 Michigan 14-1o in the pouring rain in East Lansing despite coming in as 13-point underdogs. To many, it was a shocking result, but to Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck, it was par for the course.
"If Michigan beats Michigan State you'd be surprised," he told reporters today.

It seems like a goofy response considering how much of a favorite Michigan was (and it was probably just Fleck showing respect to MSU, who Minnesota plays this Saturday), but he might actually be right: The Spartans have won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two teams, so maybe it shouldn't have been such a surprise after all.
Still, the comment will almost certainly be something that Michigan fans take the wrong way, and I'd imagine Jim Harbaugh is already posting the quote throughout the locker room.
The Wolverines will get to exact their revenge on Nov. 4, when Fleck and the Gophers travel to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan.
