One of the crowned jewels of Michigan's 2015 recruiting class has decommitted from the university. Chris Clark, a four-star tight end out of Connecticut, posted a message on Twitter saying that he has decided to re-open his recruitment because of Michigan's "unfortunate coaching change" and the "unknown of who will take over the program."
Earlier this year, Clark tweeted out that firing Hoke "changes everything" regarding his recruitment.
Clark did say that he is still interested in Michigan, so he could possibly end up in Ann Arbor next year, but this is still a huge blow for the Wolverines. He holds offers from more than 40 schools, and will almost certainly be a highly recruited prospect.
