When your basketball team gets the biggest win in program history, you go all-out to celebrate. NJIT is doing that to commemorate the program’s win over then-No. 17 Michigan from earlier this month. The school made special shirts that it is selling in its bookstore and online which feature the score of the game and the phrase “NJIT Victory.” Check them out:

It is a bit silly to sell shirts for a regular season basketball game that your school won, but the Highlanders are a historically terrible program — they lost an astounding 51 straight games between 2007 and 2009, and went 0-29 during the 2007-08 season — and this was the school’s first game against a ranked opponent.
We expect that these will be all the rage around NJIT’s campus, and if history is any indication, the campuses of many Big Ten schools.
