Reddit User Creates "What College Team Acronyms Mean In Your State" Maps

Colleges love to refer to themselves by their acronym, even if they aren't the only school with the same two or three-letter combination. For example - USC can mean either the University of Southern California or the University of South Carolina, depending upon where you live.

Last week, a Reddit user who goes by georforceman ran some data to see which schools have the best hold on their acronyms. He polled the Reddit college football community and produced a number of maps - which show you what each acronym means in each state.

Here's what he found for UI, UH, UC, UA, UM, USC, UT, Tech, OSU, MSU, BU and UW. Some of the results might surprise you.
