Last month, Kentucky guard Charles Matthews announced his intent to transfer after one season in Lexington. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, two fairly prominent programs are in the running for the former four-star recruit: the Michigan Wolverines and Xavier Musketeers.

Matthews was a reserve for Kentucky, averaging 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in just over 10 minutes per game. As a recruit, Matthews was the No. 16 shooting guard in the class of 2015, per 247sports.
