Veteran linebacker David Harris' tenure with the New York Jets appears to be coming to an end.
A second-round pick out of Michigan in 2007, Harris has been with the Jets for his entire career. He is about to be released, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Harris has been an Ironman for Gang Green, appearing in 154 out of 160 regular season games. He amassed over 100 tackles in a season six times. His career-high for tackles in a season is 127, which he set as a rookie in 2007 and matched in 2009.
Harris also amassed 35 sacks with the Jets and six interceptions, including four in the 2011 season. He made the 2007 All-Rookie Team and was a Second Team All-Pro selection in 2009.
