Michigan and Ohio State will play this Saturday for the 114th time.

This year's Ohio State vs. Michigan game, per usual, is a big deal. The Buckeyes still have an outside shot at playing in the College Football Playoff this year, and the Wolverines would love nothing more than to spoil their season.

Let's take a snapshot view at where the rivalry sits heading into the 114th meeting between the two schools.

Michigan currently leads the all-time series 58-48-6 (Ohio State's 2010 win is vacated) but the Buckeyes have won five in a row and 12 of the last 13.

Some Ohio State fans, however, note that since World War II, they've had the advantage.

Some other notes:

  • Michigan won the first game between the two, 36-0, back in 1897
  • The two schools have played annually since 1918
  • The longest winning streak actually belongs to Michigan, from 1901-1909
  • Michigan has won just twice in the 21st century

This year's version of The Game, per usual, kicks off at Noon ET.
