Michigan’s losing streak to Ohio State is getting to all Wolverine fans, even Tom Brady. The legendary quarterback was left speechless by his alma mater’s eighth-straight defeat against its biggest rival.
Ohio State’s 56-27 demolition of Michigan was the Buckeyes’ 15th win in 16 tries against “That Team Up North.” When asked about the game during his weekly appearance on WEEI this morning, Brady couldn’t come up with any words to sum up his feelings.
“I am at a complete loss,” he said. “I have no idea. It’s been tough. I have a few bets I have to settle too, so it makes it even tougher.”
Brady was 1-1 against Ohio State in his career as a starter, but during his five years in Ann Arbor, Michigan went 4-1 against the Buckeyes. To say the script has flipped would be an understatement.
Logic tells us that the Wolverines will beat Ohio State again at some point, but it is tough to conceive when and how right now. That’s how thoroughly the Buckeyes have been dominating this rivalry of late.
Brady might want to think twice about wagering on “The Game” in the coming seasons.
