Michigan fans can't stand Urban Meyer, but their feelings toward him would likely change if he were to become the head coach in Ann Arbor.

A far-fetched scenario? Sure, but at least one oddsmaker thinks it has a puncher's chance of happening.

Earlier today, SportsBetting.ag released its odds on who will be the head coach of Michigan next year if Jim Harbaugh is no longer there. Urban is tied with Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy for the fifth-best odds.

Virginia's Bronco Mendenhall, Stanford's David Shaw, Utah's Kyle Whittingham and Syracuse's Dino Babers are ahead of Meyer.

Not surprisingly, Meyer is the odds-on favorite to be the next head coach at USC, assuming Clay Helton is done.

Again, Michigan isn't going to fire Harbaugh. Him not returning in 2020 would have to be his own decision and would probably happen only if he returned to the NFL.

If he does, we're still not betting on Urban coaching the Maize and Blue, no matter what the odds say.
